My Experience…
This is the part where I am supposed to tell you all the great things about me that will convince you that I’m the perfect coach for you! But in all honesty, it feels a bit strange to just tell you all the good stuff, so let me tell you some of the not so great stuff. I am a work in progress just like everyone else - good days and bad days with a lot of self-doubt thrown in. I was fired from my first job out of college for goofing off with another girl in my department. Boy, we had some laughs (I did learn that cold call telemarketing was not my jam!). I can be very stubborn (got that from my dad), I live on the coast and don’t like it. Mountains all the way for me! I could keep going but I’ll go ahead and list my experience.
Here are the Highlights
35 years as a Marketing Strategist and Event Planner. So what does that mean? It means I have both work experience and lots of life experience.
I have worked in different industry sectors. Turn Key Engineering & Architecture. Luxury Real Estate and Gated Communities. Senior Living for Independent Adults. Non-Profit sector where I facilitated course material to prepare participants to find jobs. Non-profit fund raising and events.
I have been a book coach, content creator & copy editor for the last three years, and have coached both non-fiction and fiction writers. I published a coffee table book in 2018 that really put me on the path for my passion work which is working with writers.
This is a list from my resume (don’t blame you if you don’t read all of it - meh). Just read the bottom line.
